The Gower region has many beaches all with beautiful golden sand, rock pools and access to a clean (and usually cold!) sea.
But alongside this, there are lots of things to do, from taking a bike ride along the promenade all the way round to Swansea, enjoying the cinema, visiting the LC2 leisure centre with it’s huge slides, taking a walk through Clyne Valley park or even the local Mumbles Hill Nature Reserve (30 seconds from the caravan!).
Or there is the Mumbles Pier arcade, Joe’s ice cream parlour (rumoured to have the best ice cream in the world), or the many and varied shops on the Mumbles High Street. Or perhaps a free trip to the museum or the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea beckons?
There is so much to do and explore in this part of the world and we hope this section helps you make the most of your time here!
